Nora's Kitchenâ„¢

Nora's Kitchen was born in 2017, after years of honing her skills in a tiny basement kitchen. Passionate about delivering healthy, authentic, homecooked meals, Nora focuses on quality, preparing her own curry pastes from scratch.

Nora's Kitchen has thrived for six years, winning awards such as Malaysian Restaurant of the Year in 2019 and Best Asian Food Establishment in June 2023. The kitchen also gained recognition on BBC One's Welsh Adventure series with Sir Gareth Edwards. Nora's dedication to her craft led to the development of homemade curry pastes, with two vegan-friendly products available: rendang curry paste and Nyonya lime curry paste, both free from added sugar and preservatives.

"We were in Port Talbot for a wedding and decided to visit Tenby the next day. We were after a late lunch and were wandering around and went in the Old Food Market. Almost immediately on walking through the entrance the most amazing smells were hitting us from Nora's Kitchen, so we decided to eat there. I ordered the Malaysian King Prawn Curry and my husband had the Chicken Rendang Curry and we shared a roti. On ordering we were asked how spicy we wanted our meals which was a lovely touch as you rarely get asked this. All I can say is the food was absolutely outstanding. The most fragrant, tasty, spiced food that we have ever had and the prawns were huge! My mouth was tingling for hours with the flavours. As others have said, surroundings are quite basic, with the menu on boards, but it really didn't matter. We knew nothing about Tenby or this place and literally just stumbled upon it. Quite simply one of the best meals I have ever had and I really wished I lived closer. Thank you so much, it was amazing! PS, I'd love the recipe for the Malaysian Prawn Curry!"
